Ironclad Dominion

Ironclad Dominion is a grid-based strategy game about pushing borders, managing supply lines, and outthinking an AI that doesn't cheat as often as you'd fear. It's turn-based, so it fits perfectly into short offline sessions.

The learning curve is real but fair. Once the resource loop clicks, you start seeing three moves ahead and the game opens right up. I lost a couple of maps badly before it finally made sense.

There's a satisfying honesty to a strategy game that runs entirely on your device. No server hiccups, no forced waits. Just you and a map.
